SHE’S worn designs by everyone from Alexander McQueen to David Koma, but it looks like Cheryl Cole won’t be wearing anything by Victoria Beckham as part of her X Factor wardrobe.

“We don’t loan dresses. If celebrities are photographed wearing them, they have bought them,” a spokesperson for Beckham’s fashion label told the Sunday Mirror.

Cole, who resumed her judging hat on Saturday night as the new series of the reality show takes hold, had apparently wanted pieces for her acts to wear – but is now looking further afield to designers such as Matthew Williamson, Roberto Cavalli, Vivienne Westwood and rising London star Hannah Marshall.

“Cheryl would also like to include some of the young, up-and-coming designers from fashion schools,” an X Factor source added.
