A new day, a new reason to ruminate on whether to cut or grow out our hair over the winter. The multitude of waist-grazing, middle-parted seventies-era tresses at the Spring shows had us thinking long, but Keira Knightley’s recent cut is really getting to us. Then this morning her friend and co-star, the crop-topped Carey Mulligan, entered the picture. The actresses turned up at a photo call for their film Never Let Me Go on the first day of the 54th BFI London Film Festival sporting two very enviable short styles: Mulligan, a wispy flaxen overgrown boy cut with fringe and Knightley—who also managed to nab some S/S 2011 Rodarte for the occasion—the new bob she premiered in the Chanel front row, worn with a slight wave and texture. What do you think: a collectively strong enough argument for keeping it above the shoulders for Spring?
